White Chocolate Peppermint Puppy Chow

Christmas time is just around the corner! What a better way to celebrate than to make fun goodies to share. I absolutely love making treats for my work office and family and friends. The Christmas season gives me a good reason to do so. Sometimes I don’t have a ton of time to spend baking, but I want to make a treat for my office. I look to easy recipes like puppy chow and spice it up for the Holiday season! Here’s a delicious and easy to make White Chocolate Peppermint Puppy Chow that is sure to please you and your friends/family.

White Chocolate Peppermint Puppy Chow

Ingredients –

Peppermint Puppy Chow 5
3 C. Chex cereal
1/2 C. Wilton white candy melt
1/2 C. White peppermint Hershey’s kisses
1/4 C. Marshmallows
1/3 Cup powdered sugar

Directions-
1. Put your powdered sugar in a large Ziploc bag and set aside
2. In a microwave safe dish, melt your candy melts and Hersheys kisses together for 3 to 4 minutes on 50% power, stirring every 30 seconds
3. Once your chocolate is melted, and your marshmallows in and microwave for another 30 seconds, and mix

4. Quickly pour your chocolate mix over your Chex cereal and carefully mix until your cereal is covered

5. Now pour your chocolate covered cereal into your powdered sugar bag and shake well (use your fingers on the outside of the bag to carefully break up the pieces that clump together)

6. Serve with a little crushed peppermint on top and enjoy!
