About Anchors Up

After a daring rescue mission in stormy weather, Elias, a brave young rescue boat, is recruited by a larger harbor. Once he gets to Big Harbor to begin his new job, however, he discovers that bigger is not always better. Originated almost twenty years ago the stories about the little rescue boat have been produced in 91 TV episodes, and audiences all over the world have been following Elias bouncing in and out of waves, in and out of danger and in and out of the most exciting adventures.

Our Thoughts

I was able to screen this adorable movie with my family and I was so excited to share this family friendly film with my 3 year old. He usually doesn’t sit for movies but after seeing the trailer for it, I thought it was worth a shot. We all enjoyed the family friendly aspects of this movie as well as the plot and story that this movie told. It was interesting, fun, and colorful. These are the things that kept my toddler’s attention throughout the movie. The storyline is easy to understand and not drawn out like some other movies. I feel that the action level is acceptable for young ones too, and I love that about movies.

The characters are really interactive and I love seeing that in family movies. My son was drawn to the character that was the most outgoing and didn’t seem bothered by the small action parts of the movie. The story line kept us engaged the entire time and this movie is one that we want to see again!
