I’ve created these Avatar Adversaries Fire Nation Sizzle Crisps in partnership with Nickelodeon.
As the weather gets cooler outside here, a hot cup of tea is something I always reach for when I sit down to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender. I was sent some delicious Iroh Jasmine Dragon Green Tea from Official FYE to enjoy and I immediately brewed a cup and made a delicious movie watching snack, “Fire Nation Sizzle Crisps.”

How to Make Fire Nation Sizzle Crisps
You can make these sizzle crisps at home quickly and have them ready for your next Avatar: The Last Airbender viewing party!
First, you’ll want to grab a baking sheet with a baking rack on top – this ensures that the bacon gets crispy in the oven. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lay your bacon pieces out flat on the baking rack.
Top bacon with maple syrup using a basting brush.
Sprinkle red pepper flakes, black pepper and cayenne pepper on top of bacon pieces.
Next, add some brown sugar on top of the covered bacon slices.
Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes until bacon is crisp and cooked through.
Break into bite sized pieces and serve with a hot cup of Iroh Jasmine Dragon Green Tea.
