 We are always on the hunt for quality cookware! When we got married, we got the cheapest set we could find and that wasn’t a smart move. Then, we bought a Paula Dean set along with some other off brand ones and have gotten good use out of those. However, we need something new for sure– ours is falling apart, sticking, etc. Calphalon has introduced a new line of cookware called the Calphalon Contemporary and I just knew we had to try it for numerous reasons. The Calphalon brand name is one that I know I can trust for quality products but we never purchased any of them. I have had friends and family with Calphalon pots and pans and the only complaint they had was that they couldn’t be put in the dishwasher to clean! That says a lot when the only complaint is about cleaning them — awesome!

Calphalon sent me their 10″ and 12″ skillets to try out from their new Calphalon Contemporary line. I knew right away that these would fit in our family well as Garrett is always frying up something. Plus, with a new baby we needed new pots and pans that would help us save time! The key note about Calphalon Contemporary cookware is that it is dishwasher safe! That’s right, you heard me ….. nonstick cookware that is dishwasher safe! It’s about time we find a brand that has this available to us and doesn’t give up quality!

We are planning to purchase a new home in a few months and I will definitely be asking for/purchasing the remaining pieces of the Calphalon Contemporary line! We LOVED that the nonstick properties weren’t altered by making this dishwasher safe. In fact, the product is made with better quality nonstick properties and that makes it all the better. If you’re looking for new cookware or a housewarming gift for someone, the Calphalon Contempoary nonstick cookware would be a great gift.
