Clogs 101: How Roto-Rooter Can Help!

Plumbing problems like clogs are bound to happen to the best of us. Over the years, we’ve had a few clogs and some have been super easy and others have been challenging ones to get through. The one that I always remember was food grease in our first apartment. We were renting so we put in a repair ticket and waited for maintenance to come. They left us a note saying that they cleared the drain for us. How embarrassing, right?! Now that we’ve bought a house and moved on to bigger and better things, we’ve learned that not all clogs require a maintenance call! There are numerous types of clogs like the food grease I mentioned, a ball of hair, food scraps, toys, personal hygiene, etc.

It is very important to educate your household and family about the types of clogs and the types of items that should not go downt he drains! Thankfully my son isn’t tall enough to reach the sink yet but I know that we will tackle that when he gets older. Clogs are inevitable, though! Another key thing to note is that just because you have a garbage disposal you cannot put anything you want down the drain!! Things like eggshells, grease, fats, oils, and leftover food have clogged my sink!! That’s just in the kitchen!! In the bathroom, things like hair, paper towels, wipes, etc. have made their way to clog the pipes!

Although some of the clogs do require a plumber to be called, there are many times that I just grab my Roto-Rooter Gel Clog Remover to clean these drain clogs. The Roto-Rooter Gel Clog Remover has been such a lifesaver in my time of need. This formula is better than any other that I’ve tried and clears clogs fast! Roto-Rooter is the strongest National Brand Roto-Rooter Gel Clog Remover and has 25% more active ingredients than other brands.

The first thing I try when my drain is clogged is using a plunger. If that doesn’t work, I reach for my Roto-Rooter Gel Clog Remover. I simply follow the directions on the back of the bottle and pour it down the drain. I wait about 10 minutes and then flush with hot water. Then, the clog is washed away!!

What kind of things have you found in your drains?
