Have you ever stayed at a DoubleTree hotel? If so, I hope you’ve tried their delicious cookies. They’re SO good, I mean like the best cookies ever! I love these cookies so I’ve found a copycat recipe that is absolutely delicious and ties me over until I stay at a Doubletree again!
Copycat DoubleTree Cookie Recipe
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup rolled oats

- 2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour

- 1-1/2 tsp. baking soda

- 1 tsp. salt
-
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
-
- 1 cup butter, softened
-
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
-
- 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
-
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
-
- 2 eggs
-
- 3 cups semi-sweet, chocolate chips
-
- 1-1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Directions:
- In a food processor or blender add your oats , blend until fine.
- Add the walnuts to your oats and pulse 4-5 seconds.
- In a medium bowl add the ground oats, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Stir to combine.
- In a second medium sized bowl add the butter, sugars, vanilla, and lemon juice.
- Cream to combine.
- Add your eggs into a small bowl.
- Use an electric mixer, mix until smooth.
- Stir the dry mixture into the wet mixture and blend well.
- Add the chocolate chips to the dough and mix.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator over night.
- Using a regular sized ice cream scoop place your cookie scoops onto an parchment covered cookie sheet.
- Make sure to place the scoops about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in a 350°F oven.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- ENJOY!! Best served warm.
