Copycat DoubleTree Cookie Recipe!

Thank You For Sharing!!

Have you ever stayed at a DoubleTree hotel? If so, I hope you’ve tried their delicious cookies. They’re SO good, I mean like the best cookies ever! I love these cookies so I’ve found a copycat recipe that is absolutely delicious and ties me over until I stay at a Doubletree again!

Copycat DoubleTree Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1 cup butter, softened
    • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

    • 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
    • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    • 2 eggs
    • 3 cups semi-sweet, chocolate chips
    • 1-1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions:

  1. In a food processor or blender add your oats , blend until fine.
  2. Add the walnuts to your oats and pulse 4-5 seconds.
  3. In a medium bowl add the ground oats, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. In a second medium sized bowl add the butter, sugars, vanilla, and lemon juice.
  6. Cream to combine.
  7. Add your eggs into a small bowl.
  8. Use an electric mixer, mix until smooth.
  9. Stir the dry mixture into the wet mixture and blend well.
  10. Add the chocolate chips to the dough and mix.
  11. Chill the dough in the refrigerator over night.
  12. Using a regular sized ice cream scoop place your cookie scoops onto an parchment covered cookie sheet.
  13. Make sure to place the scoops about 2 inches apart.
  14. Bake in a 350°F oven.
  15. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  16. ENJOY!! Best served warm.
Making these at home has saved me a ton of money because I’m not staying in the DoubleTree just for the cookies ;). These are delicious and best served warm, so make sure you are ready to eat cookies when you make these. In fact, I recommend making a double batch because once people (if you share) try them they will want more and more!!
