Crabby Corn is popped in small batches so it’s always fresh, and all flavors are gluten and nut free.

History of Crabby Corn

Crabby Corn is owned and operated by 19 year old Tyler Ledman who pops to pay his way through college. Tyler is currently working towards an associate’s degree in Business Administration at his local community college. To date, Tyler has not had to spend any money out of pocket on college tuition or books. Tyler is grateful to all of his loyal customers for their continued support of both his business and his education.

While working at a local movie theater, seeing the popularity of popcorn among theater patrons and evaluating his own love of popcorn, Tyler began to think about selling popcorn on his own at local events. He had much encouragement from his family and 4-H leader. In August of 2016, Tyler popped his first 25 bags of kettle corn using equipment he rented from a local company. Crabby Corn was a huge hit. Tyler loves the variety of business related tasks involved in producing and selling popcorn and the interactions of working in the public with a wide range of customers.
