What’s the difference between Applesauce and Apple Butter?

Applesauce and apple butter are both made using a similar process, but they’re quite different. Applesauce you make by slow cooking your apples with water spices and some sugar for a shorter amount of time. Apple butter uses a similar process but is cooked much longer and slower so that the mix cooks down even further!
