I am the person that loves doing Christmas stockings for the adults in the family. This year, I decided that it would be fun to pass out a few Easter Baskets as well. There is a magic to it, especially for those who haven’t had one in years! Their eyes just light up at the chance to be immersed in their childhood again. I was brainstorming ideas and thought it would be fun to share them with you too in case you have someone special you want to surprise this year.
-
Shaving cream– Something that we all use male or female, useful gifts can be fun!
-
Razors– I can’t be the only one who is always about to run out of razors right?
-
Tickets to events– Your sweetie’s favorite sporting team, the opera, the movies, or anything that you can enjoy together!

Small liquor bottles– Tasty little mix ins for them to enjoy or cordials make great basket filler, or go big for a wine lover with a full bottle.
-
Tools– Handy men and handy women can appreciate things like measuring taps, small levels, and other everyday tools.
-
Lottery tickets– For the thrill of the win!
-
Shampoo/Conditioner– Again, presents that can be used are really appreciated. If you are a couponer you probably have this on hand!
-
Body wash-Grab something unique, light, and wonderfully scented.
-
Nail polish– Nail polish and other gear like files not only add some color to the basket but to the recipient as well!
-
Seeds – Give the gift that keeps on giving, seeds that can produce crop after crop of delicious fresh fruits and veggies.
-
Gardening tools– Spades, trowels, gloves, and knee pads are perfect this time of year for simple or elaborate gardening.
-
Coffee– Maybe a favorite standby, as well as a sample of a new flavor would be appreciated!
-
Coffee cup– Grab one that perfectly fits the recipient. Now would be a great time to try one of those Pinterest projects on a mug.
-
Adult coloring book– Add in some pens or colored pencils for those adults that enjoy the relaxing pastime of adult coloring books.
-
Beef jerky– Go with their favorite one from the store or hunt up some exotic game like these ones.

-
Golf balls– If you have a serious golfer on your hands find some unique colors or personalized ones.
-
Car cleaning stuff– Sponges, soap, wax, rags, air freshener, etc…

Perfume/cologne– If you don’t know the recipient well you may want to skip perfume in case of allergies.
-
T-shirts– Roll up a fun band, a favorite character, or quote shirt and toss it in the basket.
-
Slippers– Since spring is here go for a lightweight pair.
-
Gourmet candy– Instead of the old standby Easter candy find a unique item like a popular candy from their childhood.
-
Magazine– Throw in a favorite magazine, maybe one with a prepaid subscription attached?
-
Socks-Whether you go for basic utilitarian or silly toe socks they make a great basket filler.
-
Gift Cards– I like to put a variety of cards with a small amount like $5 on them for fast food places my hubby loves.

-
Ball cap– How about a ball cap emblazoned with a logo of something they love. You can even use the ballcap As the Easter Basket.
-
Flip flops– A brand new pair for the warmer weather is just the thing!
-
Kitchen Utensils– New utensils for someone who loves to cook .
-
Gourmet food– Hot sauces, barbecue sauce, flavored oils and vinegars are another option for the home cook who really gets into it.
-
Nuts/Seeds– Sunflower, peanuts, pistachios, almonds…
-
Sunglasses– I am always losing mine and can use an extra pair, I think most of us do?
-
Candles– Small jar candles or even wax melts in spring scents.
-
Knitting Supplies– Needles and yarn for your favorite knitter or someone who is looking for a new hobby.
-
Lip balm/gloss– Great for men or women.

-
Homemade items– Do you sew, knit, paint, or draw? Include one of your homemade creations in the basket.
Think outside the basket- Use a car wash bucket, a crate, in boots, a toolbox, tackle box, or flower pot.
