When I was pregnant with our son, he was diagnosed with Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR). He was born at 38 weeks weighing 5lb 12oz and has always been under the 3rd percentile on the growth charts. Tracking his weight is something that we have to do regularly and charting his growth to ensure that he is maintaining his own growth curve. He did recently drop some on the growth chart and is now <0.1%tile for weight but is overall healthy and now following that curve. We see several specialists because he has a pediatric feeding disorder and very selective eating.
