Notes

  1. Before starting to make your gummies, we suggest getting all of your silicone molds ready and stabilized on a baking sheet.
  2. Grease each pocket with a small amount of coconut oil or vegetable oil. This will make them pop out much easier.
  3. When making your gummies, as long as you keep your liquid to gelatin ration the same, you can change the ratios to fit your tastes and needs.
  4. We used 10ml candy molds. Which means they hold about 2tsp of liquid. This is twice the dose of elderberry syrup we give our kids. So we cut it in half to where each gummy was 1 tsp of elderberry syrup. Making one gummy a perfect daily dose of elderberry for our needs.

How much of the syrup should I take?

Olivia

I would take ½ to 1 tablespoon daily for adults to prevent illness; or if the flu does strike, take ½ to 1 tablespoon every 2 to 3 hours, instead of once a day, until symptoms disappear.
