Fizzy Apple Scented Bath Bombs

Thank You For Sharing!!

Bath bombs are so easy to make and customize. They also make great gifts for everyone! The apple shaped and scented ones are great for the teachers on your gift list as well.

Homemade gifts are my favorite thing to do! They just put a special touch on a gift, in my opinion. Plus, if a homemade gift isn’t the only thing you want to give someone, it’s a great addition.

When I make homemade gifts, I also make a batch for myself. This Christmas Cookie Sugar Scrub is my absolute favorite. Next comes these DIY Sweet Orange Honey Lotion Bars and then these DIY Vapor Rub Shower Melts!

Make a large batch of these and then have them ready in your guest bathroom. Or just ready for yourself when you need some relaxation. With the simple recipe and tutorial, you’ll see that bath bombs are SO simple!

Fizzy Apple Scented Bath Bombs

Yields: 2 dozen

INGREDIENTS
1 cup baking soda
1 cup citric acid
1/2 cup coconut oil
10 drops apple flavoring
3-4 drops red soap colorant

DIRECTIONS
1.    Preheat oven to 140°.

2.   In a large metal or glass mixing bowl, add the baking soda, citric acid and corn starch. Stir to combine.

2.   Add the coconut oil, apple flavoring and red soap colorant.  Stir well to incorporate all of the ingredients. The consistency will look and feel like wet sand.

3.  Transfer the mixture into the silicone apple mold and fill each mold, up to the top.

4.   Place the silicone mold on a baking sheet and place in preheated oven. Turn oven off and leave the oven door closed for 1 hour.

5.   Remove from the silicone mold from the oven and allow the bath bombs to air dry for an additional 8 hours.

6.   Carefully pop the bath bombs out of their molds and store in a mason jar or other airtight glass container.

These are simply stored in an airtight container like a Ball Jar and ready to go when you need them. Add a little ribbon and gift tag, and you’ve got a great gift!!

Easy enough, right? The molded shapes are so fun and I know that you will love these as much as I do!
