“For the Right Reasons” Review + Giveaway! #FCBlogger

Thank You For Sharing!!

I have been a fan of the show The Bachelor (and The Bachelorette) since season 1. I know it is a show with a bunch of drama and it’s crazy to watch but I have always liked watching it. I have to say that I have had some favorite seasons and some not so favorite seasons. One of my favorites was the season that Sean Lowe was on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette and then when he was The Bachelor. I just knew that there was something different about him in comparison to the other Bachelors. He shares some of the same beliefs as me and I desired to know more about his life and his experience on The Bachelor and Bachelorette.

FTRR

For those of you who aren’t familiar with The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, here’s a basic overview: it is a match-making reality show where one man (or woman) meets around 25 women (or men) who are all aiming to win the Bachelor or Bachelorette’s heart! During this 3 month journey, they go on extravagant dates, travel to exotic locations and get sent home one by one until 2 remain! The eliminations are done at the Rose Ceremony where roses are handed out by the Bachelor or Bachelorette. Those who do not receive a rose go home…..

When I was given the opportunity to review “For the Right Reasons” I was beyond excited. I took it with me on a work travel trip and finished it on the first flight– that’s how great it was. The book tells about Sean’s childhood, his football career in high school and college and then how he landed himself as a contestant on the Bachelorette. The book then transitions and shares some behind the scenes information about his experience and soon goes into his turn as The Bachelor. I loved the book and to see him and Catherine happy after their love story began on The Bachelor. It truly shows how the show helps to harbor relationships and then the parts where the show does not. It talks about the producers and how much they all develop friendships as that is the only communication the contestants have during the show.

If you’re a fan of The Bachelor or have been wondering about the behind the scenes information, this book is awesome. Definitely pick it up at your local Family Christian and get to reading…. it won’t take you long at all.
