Fuller House: The Complete First Season Available on DVD Feb 28th!

One of my favorite shows when I was a kid was Full House – it was one of those shows that me and my sisters watched as a family and truly enjoyed and laughed at. When I heard that the sequel, Fuller House, was coming exclusively to NetFlix, I knew I had to watch it immediately. I was even happier to hear that most of the original cast was returning which is huge in a sequel. As soon as the first season was released, I watched it and loved every minute. I heard a few reviews that it was ‘cheesy’ but I found that it was quite the opposite and pretty entertaining as I loved how the humor was consistent with the original Full House show! Now that Season one is on DVD, I am super excited to watch it over and over!

About Fuller House Season One

On Fuller House, eldest daughter D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure, Full House, A Christmas Detour) is now a veterinarian and recently widowed mother trying to raise three boys on her own.  She is joined by her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin, Full House, Walt Before Mickey) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber, Full House, The Skateboard Kid 2) and Kimmy’s teenage daughter Ramona (Soni Bringas), who move in to lend their support and help raise D.J.’s kids.

Clips from Season One:

The original Full House, which centered on three grown men raising three girls in San Francisco, premiered in 1987 on ABC and became an instant hit with viewers. The family friendly series became a pop culture phenomenon. It was praised by fans for its wholesome comedy, lovable characters and valuable life lessons. It aired for eight successful seasons and later aired in syndication.  Fuller House premiered on Netflix in February 2016 and has already been renewed for a second season.

Fuller House earned two Teen Choice Awards in 2016. The series won in the “Choice TV Show: Comedy” category. Candace Cameron Bure earned the “Choice TV Actress: Comedy” award.

“We think this release will be a big hit with consumers. The longstanding success of the original Full House on DVD, coupled with the popularity of the return of the series on Netflix, demonstrate there is a demand for Full House content,” said Rosemary Markson, WBHE Senior Vice President, TV Marketing. She added, “We’re thrilled to see the revival of this legendary family series, and we’re excited to release it on DVD. Now a new generation of fans will be introduced to this very special show.”

Created by Jeff Franklin (Full House, Malcom & Eddie), Fuller House is produced by Miller-Boyett Productions and Jeff Franklin Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television. Robert L. Boyett (Family Matters, Step by Step), Thomas L. Miller (Family Matters, Step by Step) and Jeff Franklin are executive producers.
