Shopping for men can be a challenge on its best day. We never know what they want (Hint: it is not a tie). For me, I have a hard time shopping for my Dad and Father-In-Law – I feel that they don’t necessarily need or want anything. Sometimes I hear them through the year say something that they wish they had or want and I’ll take note. Last year my Dad told me how much he liked my new salt & pepper grinders, and so that is what I got him for Christmas. He really did like them!! 🙂 So, to help get your juices flowing, I’ve enlisted the help of a few guys for some ideas to help us live up to the challenge.
Tools – Tools are a gift that lasts and can be put to use. Most men have more ties than they ever want to wear but can never have enough tools. How about this Stanley Homeowners Tool Set?
Fishing gear – If the guy you are shopping for is a fishing fan you can’t go wrong with accessories and fishing gear. A quick look at his tackle box will tell you what is wearing out. You can take the item that needs replaced to the local sporting goods store and an associate can help you if you have no idea what it is. Just sneak it back into the box before he figures out it is missing. Check out this Deep Drop LED Fishing Light!
Accessories for their vehicle – Car seat covers, floor mats, and handy things like a GPS system are great gifts for men that love their cars. This Emergency Roadside Assistance Kit would be a great gift – everyone should have one in their car.
Speakers or entertainment – Entertainment systems are a great option for gifts for men. A sound system is a popular choice.
Hunting supplies – Knives set, scopes, and anything camouflage can make a hunter a happy camper over the holidays. My husband loves music, he would love this Portable Bluetooth Speaker.
Camping gear – Christmas is a great time to load your favorite guy up with a camping gear. Clearance sections can be found with lots of goodies due to the tome of year.
New video games – If your guy is a gamer this is the time of year all of the new games come out.
Subscription box – Subscriptions to many friendly box deliveries make great gifts for men. Popular boxes for men include: Dollar Shave Club, Bespoke Post, and The Man Box.
Personal care sets – Many men are not really into personal car but, if yours is personal care sets go on sale for the holidays and can save you time and money.
Sports equipment – Does the guy you’re shopping for love a sport? How about new gear?
