Pop your popcorn and preheat your oven! Now, spread the popcorn onto 2 large baking sheets. Try to ensure that the popcorn is in a single layer. Set aside.

Gingerbread Popcorn combines a classic Christmas flavor with salty popcorn! This snack will become a family favorite and is perfectly paired with a family movie night.

Ingredients

  • 12 cups popcorn, popped and lightly salted
  • 1 stick, 1/2 cup, butter
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and spread the popcorn onto two large baking sheets. Spread in a single layer as much as possible. Set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, add butter, molasses, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Heat over medium low heat and stir until butter is melted and mixture is combined. Drizzle half of the mixture over each pan of popcorn and stir to coat.

Notes
