God’s Not Dead: We The People Synopsis

The God’s Not Dead franchise continues in God’s Not Dead: We the People as Reverend Dave (White) is called to defend a group of Christian homeschooling families.  He finds himself taken aback by the interference of the government, and believing that their right to educate their own children is a freedom worth fighting for, Reverend Dave is called to Washington DC to testify in a landmark congressional hearing that will determine the future of religious freedom in our country for years to come.

My Thoughts

We were given the opportunity to watch God’s Not Dead: We The People in advance of the release into theaters. We’ve been following the God’s Not Dead franchise for some time now and knew that this movie would great too!

After reading the synopsis and watching the trailer, I was excited to see that some of the original cast members came back. Also, I love Francesca Battistelli so I couldn’t wait to see her in this movie.

This movie did not disappoint at all. The store was told very well throughout the entire movie. It was an easy to follow film and one that is family friendly. We are not a homeschool family but we did homeschool our son last year due to COVID, so I took interest into the homeschool side of this film. We also know a lot of homeschool families in our church so this is going to be a movie I know they’ll love!
