I was invited by Disney to attend this event. All of my expenses were paid, but I promise all opinions are my own.
The Good Dinosaur is in theaters TODAY!! If you’re not planning to go see it in theaters with your family this week, you definitely should. It is such a great movie. I had the awesome opportunity to not only see it ONE time but to see it TWICE when I was at the Good Dinosaur Event in Los Angeles last week. You know how some movies you would rather only see one time? Well, I wasn’t sure if I would want to see this one a second time….. that was, until I saw it the first time. What a heartwarming movie. I left the theater (both times) after crying and laughing because it was such a fantastic movie.
My Thoughts
When we sat down to watch The Good Dinosaur I knew it would be fantastic- not only because the trailer said so but because it was a Disney Pixar movie and they never disappoint me. At the beginning of the movie was a short called, Sanjay’s Super Team, which made me cry – happy tears. Stay tuned for our interview with the director and producer of this short to be posted. The short was about 6 minutes long and truly warmed my heart. Little did I know, The Good Dinosaur, would continue to show me friendship and fun while we watched.
The Good Dinosaur is a family friendly movie that comes out today! I loved the relationship that Arlo and Spot had in the movie- it was inspiring and reminded me that you can be friends with anyone you choose to. The relationship between Arlo and his siblings is pretty realistic as well, they joke around with each other and show some sibling rivalry.

There were many times in the movie that were hilarious. When we saw it a second time, I caught more of these moments and noticed things I didn’t originally see. It was so neat to think about what the Director and Producer talked about with us as I watched the movie. To see something like this come to life and be such a hit has to be a wonderful feeling.
