Happy Fall! I’m excited to team up with my fellow bloggers to bring you some pretty amazing products for the Harvesting Giveaways Giveaway Hop! This N That with Olivia has partnered with Christina Vaughn who is a Lilla Rose Independent Consultant and Team Leader to offer an amazing giveaway.
About Christina
Hello everyone and Happy Holidays! My name is Christina Vaughn and I’m a Lilla Rose hair jewelry Independent Stylist and Team Leader in Baltimore, MD. I’m also a wife and mom. We’ve finally reached my favorite time of year. With this comes the reason for the season; family, friends, gatherings, and comfort. Not to mention my favorite holiday, Christmas! There’s something about the cooler air that drives you to grab a cup of cocoa, a throw blanket, lay your head back and take in everything.
Why Christina Joined Lilla Rose
I joined Lilla Rose, initially, because I believed in the products but also I loved the sense of family and community within the company. What I did not realize was there was so much more to the company, that gave me that same warmth feeling as a good cup of cocoa. About a year ago I had attended a breast cancer fundraiser, as a vendor, for a local community woman who was fighting cancer. My moment of clarity came during this event, when a young lady with thinned hair walked up to my table and sighed. I said hello and introduced myself, not knowing she gave me my reason why I love this product even more. She said “I wish I could wear these beautiful hair clips, but unfortunately due to all of the radiation and chemo my hair hasn’t grown back properly” I had asked her if I could give her a free hair makeover, she hesitated but agreed. I put a mini flexi clip in a side braid in her very fine, thin hair. As I’m styling her hair I could see the balding spots that radiation and chemotherapy had done to her hair, and my heart broke for her. After I was finished I handed her a mirror so she could see how truly beautiful she looked. As she looked in the mirror she touched her hair, and then I see her reflection, instant tears. She then said “I’m sorry for getting emotional but I cannot remember the last time I braided my hair, I feel soo pretty, how much will it cost?” I was trying to keep myself collected without bursting into tears, I said “It’s your lucky day, it’s free, keep it in your hair, it’s yours” she hugged and thanked me. This was my reason why I love this product.
