Hersheypark Summer Season Begins April 27 #HersheyPA

I am SO excited to be part of the Sweetest Moms panel for Hershey this year. This means that our family will be taking a few trips to Hershey, PA and I’ll be sharing some exciting news, giveaways and travel tips for you and your family this year. Hersheypark Summer Season Begins April 27

(Hershey, PA – February 28, 2018) – There is something for everyone in The Sweetest Place On Earth this summer! Splash on a new water coaster or mat racing slide at The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park; explore ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park during its 40th anniversary; rock out at a concert at Hersheypark Stadium or relax by the pool in one of the Official Resorts of Hersheypark.

The fun begins April 27 at Hersheypark amusement park, a 110-acre theme park boasting more than 70 rides and attractions for its 111th season. New this summer are two family-thrill attractions in The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park – Breakers Edge Water Coaster and Whitecap Racer. Breakers Edge Water Coaster will be the world’s first HydroMAGNETIC water coaster with thrilling flying saucer turns and the 14th coaster at Hersheypark. Whitecap Racer will be the world’s longest mat racing slide with a high-tech leaderboard making it the race of the summer. The new attractions will be located between Shoreline Sprayground attraction and Intercoastal Waterway lazy river and slated to debut Memorial Day weekend.

In addition to these exciting new rides, daily live entertainment is offered to delight guests of all ages. New food offerings including food trucks will be added to Hersheypark’s extensive culinary line up, featuring Mexican, BBQ and more throughout the summer. Admission to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park, an 11-acre walk through zoo home to more than 300 animals from 100 species, is also included in the Park’s one-price admission.

One-day regular admission is $66.95 plus tax with a variety of ticket options, including the current best price of summer. Guests who purchase by March 16 can save 40% off tickets and enjoy the sweetest thrills of the season for $39.95. 2018 Hersheypark Season Pass holders have access to unique Drink and Dining Plans, free parking, food and retail discounts and six Season Pass holder events throughout the year. And new this year, Park Add-ons are also available at purchase, including All-Day Drink and Dining Deals, one-time ride or new unlimited Fast Track pass, games value pack, ride photo pass, cabanas, and more. A sneak peek is included with every Hersheypark ticket as part of free extra hours. Present your ticket at the main entrance 2.5 hours before the park closes the night before your visit and enjoy a fun-filled evening. If you are a guest of The Official Resorts Of Hersheypark, you can enter 3.5 hours before closing and are eligible for ‘Sweet Start.’ With Sweet Start, Resort guests and Season Pass holders receive one-hour early access to 28 rides on select dates during the summer season.
