We were given tickets to experience The High Roller in exchange for this blog post. Even though this post is sponsored, all opinions expressed are my own.
When Garrett and I visited Las Vegas a few weeks ago we planned to see as much of the Las Vegas Strip as possible. The walk up and down the strip was great but it was super hot. Plus, we didn’t get to see all that we wanted to see while walking. We decided to check out the aerial views from the High Roller Las Vegas at The Linq.
We happened to be staying at The Linq so it was very convenient. In fact, our room even had a view of the High Roller!!
We headed down to The Linq Promenade to board our ride on the High Roller. We waited in line and then got into the sphere which doesn’t stop moving when you board. However, it moves slow so it isn’t too challenging. Then, we left the station and took our 30 minute ride on the High Roller.
Inside the sphere was a ton of windows and some seats as well as TVs to track our trip on the High Roller. There was music playing and entertainment inside of the sphere so that we knew what point we were at on the ride. When we were almost to the top, there was a fun countdown and the TVs announced that we were now officially High Rollers. We had amazing views of the strip and got some awesome pictures.
Further, we were able to just relax as the sphere doesn’t go too fast. The High Roller is a great family ride with comfortable cabins and great views!
About The High Roller Las Vegas
Measuring 520 feet in diameter, the High Roller eclipses both the London Eye and Singapore Flyer. Facing north and south parallel to Las Vegas Boulevard, the wheel takes 30 minutes to complete one full revolution and features 28 glass-enclosed cabins with broad views of Las Vegas and the Strip. Each spherical cabin can hold up to 40 people, with benches on either side of the cabin and plenty of floor space in between—but we imagine you’ll want to stand and admire the view.
Purchase Tickets
You can purchase tickets online or at the box office for the High Roller. Sometimes you can even find sales on Groupon and other sites for them. Their ticket prices are for adults (12+ up) and kids (4-12). We learned to get there early as the line to check in can be quite long. Further, you have to wait in another line to purchase ride tickets. We went around 8pm on a Friday night and it was the perfect time.

I've been to Vegas a few times but I've never tried the High Roller before. It looks like a lot of fun so I definitely think I need to make time for this ride next time.
