Preparing for Baby: Hospital Packing List!

Thank You For Sharing!!

babyLiam is due in just a few short weeks, which means it is time for me to pack my hospital bag. I’ve been looking at suggestions online of what to pack, writing numerous lists, and gathering items that I know I’ll need. However, I’ve noticed how long my lists have gotten so I asked for the help of my friends/family who have experienced childbirth before– they helped me to make a list of essentials needed in my hospital bag. Check out my Hospital Packing List!

In addition to packing all of the above for your stay, you’ll also want to make a list of items to grab before you head out the door. This list can conveniently be placed on top of your hospital bag and ready to go! Here are the items I have on this list.
– makeup bag
– camera + charger
– pillow
– cell phone + charger

In your car:
Put a garbage bag on the passenger seat of the car and then lay a towel on top– this will be absolutely helpful if your water breaks on the way to the hospital.

What are some items that you didn’t pack but wish you had? I’d love to hear your suggestions in the comments.

I am sharing this post with my daughter who is expecting her first baby. It is amazing how many things you need to bring to the hospital with you to make your experience more comfortable.

Oh wow! What a huge list! I can honestly say, I did not have one single item when my baby was born! Wow! But this is a really good list and a detailed one too! Very nicely done!

This is a great list for parents to be to take to the hospital. So often people just wing it and realize all they should have brought with them.
