Ribs are one of my husband’s favorite dinners but we don’t eat them as much as we should because they always seem to take forever to make. We love them on the grill and basted with a delicious blend of seasonings and bbq sauce. Prepare to be messy when you eat ribs!
Do you own an Instant Pot? If so, did you know that you can make ribs in the instant pot with minimal effort and a few ingredients? No? Me either!! But, let me tell you – it is super easy and these ribs are delicious.
With the cooler months here or the rush to get dinner on the table, these ribs made in the Instant Pot will be a new family favorite. Plus, you can make them quick, if you’re entertaining people too! There are so many things you can make in the Instant Pot!
Easy dinners are a must in our family as we are extremely busy. We both work outside the home, and have our hobbies and then our son has a ton of therapy and definitely keeps us busy!! The instant pot has been a lifesaver and these ribs are SO delicious and perfect for a quick weeknight meal!
Instant Pot Sesame Ribs
Ingredients:
- Full slab of baby back ribs
- ¼ cup sesame oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cups of grated ginger
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 16 oz bottle of sesame sauce
- 4 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 16 oz bottle of peanut sauce
- 3 tbsp liquid smoke
- 1 cup water
Directions:
Peel membrane from the ribs and wash under cold water.
Cut the rib slab into 3 pieces. (This will allow the ribs to fit into the Instant Pot.)
Grate 2 cups of ginger.
In a bowl, combine ¼ cup sesame oil, grated ginger, garlic, sesame seeds and soy sauce.
Rub the mixture over the ribs thoroughly.
Place liquid smoke and water inside Instant Pot.
Place ribs on the rack inside the pot.
Seal lid and set Instant Pot to MEAT setting at 35 minutes.
Once finished, release the stem valve and once all steam is released, open the lid.
Turn oven on broil and place ribs on broil pan.
Brush heavily with sesame sauce and broil for 5 minutes on each side.
Serve with peanut dipping sauce and ENJOY.

(nstant Pot Sesame Ribs) Now this sounds like a rib recipe that would be great for me to make. I am not a huge fan of BBQ sauce on anything, and it gives me heart burn too.
