Welcome to This N That with Olivia’s Baby Gift Guide!
Are you a Mom-t0-Be or New Mom? Or maybe even someone looking for a perfect gift for the Mom-to-Be? This N That with Olivia’s Baby Gift Guide will feature products from the best baby brands out there in the form of reviews and sometimes giveaways. We are expecting our first little boy in October, 2014 so the search for great baby products is in full swing– those with great reviews are always at the forefront of our minds. Therefore, I plan to provide you with a review of some specific products from amazing baby brands.
This N That with Olivia’s next feature is the Juppy Baby Walker!! When I was given the opportunity to feature this product on my blog, I was super excited to share with you this awesome product which will help you in teaching your baby to walk as well as supporting your back when you’re helping baby walk!
What is The Juppy Baby Walker “Momentum”?
The Juppy “Momentum” is a solution to a previously recognized but unsolved challenge for parents of babies beginning to walk. Babies strong enough to begin walking but not strong enough to walk alone. The Juppy builds confidence in your baby and teaches balance while you maintain your natural posture, eliminating the grueling task of hunching over while teaching your baby to walk.
As you know, we are expecting our first child in just under 4 weeks, Liam, and we are super excited to welcome him into our lives. On May 1, 2013 , I had a one level spinal fusion due to numerous back issues including a fracture in my L5/S1 pars. This fusion helped solve the problems I had experienced for many years and has allowed me the ability to carry a child and proceed through pregnancy as normal as possible. I still have some residual back pain due to the nerve damage that I suffered permanently, but I am enjoying being pregnant more than anything.
After Liam is here and he starts to gain weight, try to stand, and try to take some steps, I know that I’ll have a hard time keeping up with him and helping him balance himself by bending over and trying. With my back it is really hard to stay hunched over like that, so here comes the Juppy Baby Walker!! It has numerous benefits for both baby and whoever is using it. The first thing is that it is small and compact– meaning you can take it wherever you go, just toss it in the diaper bag. Whereas a walker…. you can’t exactly do that, right?! Another thing is how easy it is to use, it provides great support for baby while helping alleviate the pressure on the users back! You can also be rest assured that baby feels safe and secure and it also eliminates your fear of baby falling on objects that may hurt them!
When Liam gets here and starts to venture the walking challenge, I am sure that this Juppy will come in handy!! I know that I will appreciate the no bending over need to help Liam learn to walk. I am also sure that my family will appreciate it too– babies are heavy! 🙂
