Hersheypark

There is one main reason that everyone plans a trip to Hershey, PA and that is to visit Hersheypark. This amusement park is packed with fun for the entire family including kid’s rides, numerous food choices, entertainment shows and more!

The Boardwalk at Hersheypark

Included in your admission to Hersheypark is entrance to The Boardwalk at Hersheypark. In this awesome water park, there are kiddie rides, splash pads, and rides for adults.

There are even 2 more rides — Breaker’s Edge and WhiteCap Racer. this year! You’ll find something for the whole family while you cool off in the water park!

ZooAmerica

Also included in your admission to Hersheypark is entrance to ZooAmerica. Here you will walk thought numerous habitats and see many animals in their zoo. You can even pay for additional behind the scenes tours if you’d like! Our son really loved the fish exhibits the most but we really loved walking through the whole zoo!

Hershey Story Museum

In the town of Hershey, PA you’ll find the Hershey Story Museum. There is a museum upstairs that the whole family can go through and learn about Milton Hershey and The Hershey Company. There are many interactive exhibits and even a scavenger hunt for the kids. Our son had a blast playing with the different interactive exhibits.

Also in the Hershey Story Museum is the Chocolate Lab Experience for ages 4 and up where they can learn all about chocolate and make their own chocolate bar. Our son isn’t quite old enough for this yet, but I’ve done this AND the Chocolate Tasting Experience and had a blast!

Hershey Resort Benefits

There are a few different Hershey Resorts in Hershey, PA that come with added benefits to staying there. First, you can get amazing prices on admission to Hersheypark as well as transportation to and from the park for free. Additionally, you can score deals on the activities within the Hershey Story Museum. Just visit the Concierge desk to see the details.

Further, you get admission to the benefits within the resort properties themselves. We love the Hershey Lodge as they have their Water Works, Mini Golf and even Kids Check-In. Within the hotel, there are also some fun family activities — bingo nights, bonfires, etc. The Hotel Hershey has similar activities too! When you check-in, you’ll be given a listing of the activities and times!

So, when are you planning to visit Hershey? You can visit all throughout the year as many of these attractions are open year ’round too! We visit always in the summer and then a few other times throughout the year. Christmas in Hershey is awesome too! This year, we are going to Halloween in Hershey!
