This is a free app from Kids Academy that helps your preschooler or kindergartner learn and write their letters and numbers.The app is very interactive and helps children in a fun way to learn their letters and numbers. The graphics in the game and the activities that are available within the app are great– I even enjoyed playing around with it! You can trace each letter and number and also try them on your own. If you get it wrong, the app encourages you to try again. My nephew is 3 years old and loves to play on the iPad. I know that he would love learning with this app as he gears up to go to school this coming year. Download it on iTunes here!

This free app from Kids Academy helps children learn to read and teaches children spelling, reading and writing skills. This app offers 2 levels of difficulty as well as a mode for both left and right handed children. The app truly caters to the needs of the individual child with engaging, fun and colorful games that encourage your children to keep learning. If you have a youngster learning to read, this app is for you! My 2 year old nephew is very interested in books and I loved sharing this app with him.
