Behold the King of Glory Book Review + Giveaway! #FCBlogger

I love to read, especially books that are encouraging. Since Liam arrived, though, my time allotted for reading has been limited…. surprise right ;). At night, I usually have to lay down with him to get him to sleep so while I am laying there, I usually have the ability to play on my phone or read. That is when I take the time to relax myself and read some of the books that I’ve been wanting to read for some time.

I recently had the opportunity to check out the book “Behold the King of Glory” by Russ Ramsey. After reading the details about the book I knew that it would be one that I would enjoy.

The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus stand at the heart of the Christian faith. For many, however, the story is so familiar that it no longer instills a profound sense of awe and wonder. What do you think? The synopsis above peaks your interest right? I LOVE books like this because they are an easy, refreshing read. The pastor or our church teaches us in this manner– one that is easily applicable to your life today, or is a ‘storytelling’ type. I LOVE that type of teaching as it really gives me the chance to visualize the time and place that this all took place. I usually get about 45 minutes to an hour to read and this is a book that I didn’t want to put down. This book takes you in and back to the time when Jesus was crucified, it is an encouraging book as well as a great teaching tool. I know that I will pass this along to my family to read, it is a great book!
