Spring is finally here and that means it is time for family activities outdoors. We live down South from most things but there are a few things that are worth a day trip for our family. One of those locations is Kings Dominion in Doswell, VA. We are going to be heading there tomorrow (Saturday 4/2) with some friends and our little family to experience the new fun there for kids and adults alike.
It has been a few years (about 10 or so) since I’ve been to Kings Dominion so I am excited to see what new things they have for the entire family to enjoy. Our friends and I love roller coasters so we are ready to experience those and Liam will love the kids park and especially Planet Snoopy. I’m pretty sure that we are all going to have a blast tomorrow. We are going to spend the entire day at the park (10:30am-8pm) and take our time. With little ones, it is good to have that extra time instead of attempting to rush them around.
After looking through the rides at Kings Dominion, I am really excited for some new things they have:
- Planet Snoopy – over nine acres of Peanuts themed fun – from rides and shows, to meeting your favorite Peanuts character
- Soak City – recently expanded and renovated, including a children’s play area for kids of all ages
- The all-new Delirium – new in 2016, this thrill ride will allow thrill seekers of all ages to fly through the air as they experience gravity-defying hang time
Of course Liam will love Planet Snoopy and we will too. The all-new Delirium is something that my husband is excited for – now he just has to find one of our friends to ride it with him (I don’t know if I can).
