Light of the World In Theaters 9/5 + Giveaway!

Family friendly films are hard to come by these days! Biblical family friendly films are even harder to come by when I am looking for something that will keep my kids engaged and share wholesome messages and Bible stories! Light of the World is available now and is a family friendly film that we all love.

About Light of the World

This beautiful, 2D-animated story of Jesus is told through the eyes of his young friend, the Apostle John. From the beginning of Jesus’ ministry through his crucifixion and resurrection, LIGHT OF THE WORLD powerfully illustrates how Jesus of Nazareth changed the world forever and still changes lives today! If you are a fan of the 1990s golden era of 2D, hand-drawn animation, you will love this movie. This is the first movie from Salvation Poem Project, a ministry committed to sharing Jesus with the world. The director, John Schafer, was the producer of the beloved program Superbook and director Tom Bancroft was a long-time animator with Disney who worked on The Lion King, Mulan, and Beauty and the Beast.

It truly is a family movie the whole family will love.

My Thoughts

As I stated above, finding wholesome Bible based family friendly films is hard! My family was able to preview Light of the World prior to theatrical release and we were SO excited. My kids, especially my girls, are so impressionable and were excited to see this movie. We watched it as a family and it was so encouraging to see their eyes light up with Bible stories that they know from church and daycare. We were able to all discuss the film and loved the story! If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, head over to the movie theater and see this movie!!!
