Festive & Delicious Mini Turkey Cupcakes

Thank You For Sharing!!

What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Do you have family traditions that you do each year? What about a special recipe that you only make around the Holiday season? Over the last few years, we’ve really enjoyed finding family traditions for our little family and adopting some of those that our families had created with us as kids.

One thing that I’ve always loved to do is bake! I am always asked to bring a dessert for Thanksgiving or other holidays and I like to find creative ways to bring a traditional dessert to life for the Holiday. Last year, I made pumpkin bread, and then another year I brought these turkey bottles for everyone.

This year, though, I want to make something simple but Thanksgiving themed. These mini turkey cupcakes are easy to make, and a spin on the traditional cupcake! With just a few simple ingredients, you have this adorable dessert that everyone can enjoy.

Mini Turkey Cupcakes

Ingredients:

Start by preparing your cake batter according to box instructions.

Fill your cupcake liners 1/2 of the way full.

Bake cupcakes according to box instructions (I only baked mine for 15 minutes, rather then the recommended 19 minutes. Just pay close attention.

After baking let cool completely.

If you choose to use a icing pipping kit, fill your icing bag with your chocolate icing.

I started in the middle and just added one large dot of icing, on to each cupcake.

Next add four candy corns (top of the corn in icing) to your cupcake as shown.

Add two candy eyes.

Finally, add a yellow M&M for the beak.

Adorable right? They’re perfect for Thanksgiving and I am sure that everyone in your family and friend circles will enjoy them!!
