We were given complimentary admission tickets to The Mob Museum in exchange for this blog post. All opinions in this post are my own.
Are you a fan of history? If so, you need to take the time to visit The Mob Museum in Las Vegas. Garrett and I visited while we were in town last month and it was a nice break from the heat and a very cool museum. The Mob Museum is an interactive museum and that makes it so much fun to visit for the entire family.
About The Mob Museum
With cutting-edge content spread throughout an immaculately restored U.S. Post Office and Courthouse built in the 1930s, The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, provides a world-class, interactive journey through true stories of organized crime and law enforcement. Its high-tech theater presentations, immersive storytelling, over 2,000 iconic one-of-a-kind artifacts and interactive exhibits engage a Mob Museum guest in a one-of-a-kind experience. Visitors can actually listen to FBI wiretapped recordings, see a portion of the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre wall, learn about hearings involving organized crime in a courtroom where they literally took place, travel back in time to understand the social conditions that led to the rise of the Mob and discover how organized crime continues to fill the headlines today.

Our Experience
We were in Las Vegas in the brunt of the summer with temperatures reaching 118-119 degrees each day. While we loved walking the strip, we also loved finding AC and cooling down. The Mob Museum was a fantastic place to spend a few hours at and cool off. When you first walk in to the museum, you check in and then head up to the top floor to start the tour. When you arrive to the top floor, you take a few group photos which you can purchase on the 2nd floor on your way through the museum.
The Mob Museum has a lot of reading, but there are also videos and other interactive displays throughout the museum. This not only entertained us but also gave us some insight into the history of organized crime. My husband loved every part about this museum and it is a contender for the best thing we did while in Vegas! We both had a good time walking through The Mob Museum and learning as we went!
