As a soon-to-be Mom to three, there are certain products that I swear are essentials and absolute “must haves” for baby. This gift guide will help you, as a Mom-to-Be, or gift giver as you embark on this new journey.

Welcoming a little one into your family is such a joy! Along with that joy comes a LOT of preparation not only in your home but in your life. We’re about to welcome our 3rd baby into our family and I am still nervous that I don’t have all the things for her.

This is our 3rd, though, so my “must haves” list is a lot shorter than it was with my first. This is simply because I learned what I used and what I didn’t use and I learned what are essentials and what are just nice to haves.

One of the things that we did a few years ago was declutter our home. I will not claim to be minimalistic but I do think that we are more intentional about what is brought into our home. In all honesty, we need to declutter again before baby comes.

While I have her area pretty much ready to go, I still feel like the remainder of the house is in disarray. One step at a time huh?

I am excited to share this list of must have products for baby! I’d like to add that this is not an all inclusive list, but one that I consider are MUST have items for your little one. This is one of the cheaper things I got for my son, who is now 8, but that I have used for all of my kids. This bouncer seat is essential and perfect for travel, transportability through the house, etc.

These bottles are amazing! With my son we used all plastic bottles and then I found glass bottles for my daughter and loved them! Crib Mattress Protectors

In addition to a crib and crib sheets, you’ll need a few crib mattress protectors. Baby Monitor

Sound Machine

I never realized the importance of a sound machine until I had my 2nd in 2020. I learned a LOT about infant sleep from Taking Cara Babies (I highly recommend her courses), and this is where I learned about the importance of a sound machine.

The Hatch+ is an essential! Not only is it a sound machine, but it is a nightlight. Plus, it is controllable from your phone which makes it definitely something that you need/want for baby! You have a variety of white noise type sounds, so whatever suits you and your baby best is the right one for the job. As baby grows, it can turn into a “time to wake” alarm so that your kiddo knows when it is time to get out of bed. All around, this is a MUST have!
