Have you ever had to deal with kids who are ADDICTED to the latest and greatest technology devices? It is so easy to get addicted or want to be on them the entire time — there are so many apps out there for us and our kids to watch/use on our phones, iPads and other devices. It is hard for me, as an adult, to watch my usage. As a blogger, I am not only attached to my computer but I’m on my phone all the time. Disconnecting is not an easy thing to do for me, let alone our kids. It is important, though, to limit time on electronic devices so that our kids not only know boundaries!
How can we do this effectively? I’m excited to share OurPact with you. OurPact is the best parental control app that allows you to take control back at the touch of a button! You can block access on your child’s device so that they can’t use the internet or open an app. You can also set schedules so that they can’t sneak it out of the room and play or watch something when you’re not around. This is helpful for bedtime, you can limit their use so they get good sleep!
What about set up?
You simply sync your IOS or Android device with all your children’s iPads and iPhones, and iPod Touches! It is super simply– here are the few steps:
- Download the app in the App Store or Google Play Store
- Sign up for a FREE account
- Open the internet on your child’s device and go to pair.ourpact.com
- Then, enter the email & password used to create the parental account
- Enter your child’s name and press ‘Pair’
- Press install
- Enter your child’s password if needed
- Voila! You’re connected.
What can you do with OurPact?
OurPact Parental Control has a lot of features allowing you to control and monitor your child’s device:
- Schedule Internet and App use- you can even choose weekend and weekday limits
- Set the number of hours your children spend on the Internet and within Apps.
- Block Internet and Apps at-a-touch.
- Allow Website and App access, whenever you feel your child “needs more time”, at-a-touch.
- Block all apps (eg. Facebook, SnapChat, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), as you see fit.

The parental control app is a must for modern parents)) It is like an answer to all our prayers. Our family uses Kidslox (www.kidslox.com). I set the daily limit for 2 hours a day and then the mobile is locked. I know that my child will not spend more time on his phone than a set time. Also, I blocked the social networks, so he would not spend much time chatting with his friends online.
