As the Mom to a little one, I know that technology is everywhere we turn. I truly look for movies and shows that would not only appeal to Liam, but also that teach him valuable lessons. While I limit the amount of screen time he has, I also allow him to splurge and watch some of his favorites. A gift that I’m excited to give him this year for Christmas comes from Owlegories which is a Gospel Centered Animation Series for kids!
About Owlegories
Owlegories is a new animated series and interactive digital app that teaches kids about God through the amazing things found in nature and revealed in God’s word! You can tell a lot about artists by what they create. That is the premise behind Owlegories, the animated series. Owlegories explores the nature of God as the creator of the universe through this new, fun- filled, animated series.
Isn’t the trailer above cute?! We were sent their Christmas DVD and I was so excited to take some time with Liam to watch it. I couldn’t wait to see how fun this DVD was for both him and I and the lessons and stories that were taught through this film! This DVD did not come short on doing just that!
This DVD has two parts to it, The Gift & The Star!
The Gift
In the Gift episode, the class throws a “Happy Birthday Jesus” party when an unexpected visitor shows up! The kids learn about the true meaning of Christmas and three things followers of Christ can learn from a gift.
The Star
In the Star Episode (a special double episode!) the class performs the nativity in their annual Christmas play! Everything is going great until Twitch disappears. The class must hurry and find him before the show begins! Along the way, the kids learn about the birth of Jesus and three great lessons from stars.
We loved both parts and Liam was engaged the entire time. Their songs are catchy and perfect for the Christmas Season! The Owlegories team has 4 DVDs available and even offer a great deal for those looking to purchase all of them. These sets would make a great gift this Christmas season!

What a cute idea!! I think that it's great to have cartoons and movies with messages! Kids really pay attention to EVERYTHING so it's important to monitor what they watch and hear! Merry Christmas! kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you.
