Have you ever had a day where you say “wow, my hair looks great today?” I’ve had some of those, but they’re few and far between! I have always struggled with keeping my hair looking nice yet not overloading it with products. As a little girl I had really long hair and then cut it short when I was about 12 years old. Since then it has stayed around the length it is now, a little past the shoulders with some layers. I also have some natural waves and frizz! I am not on to spend a ton of time on my hair either, I’d rather not add anything to it that will weigh it down or anything that could possibly extend my time to get ready. That’s why I am always so excited to participate in promotions with companies like Living Proof. 

I was given the opportunity to try a variety of products from Living Proof including their PhD shampoo, conditioner, and 5-in-1 Styling Treatment! I love that the new PhD (Perfect hair Day) line which includes a shampoo, conditioner, and 5-in-1 Styling Treatment all treat and styles your hair to deliver smoothness, volume, conditioning, strength, and polish all in one set. This makes my time spent on my hair shorter and more effective.  The PhD shampoo and conditioner are a routine changing duo that keeps hair cleaner, longer reducing the need to wash your hair as often. These are sulfate-free, oil-free and silicone-free. After using the PhD shampoo and conditioner, apply 5-in-1 Styling Treatment to damp hair and blow dry or air dry to create smoothness, volume, strength, conditioning, and polish as well as heat protection, UV protection, and static control. This is oil-free and silicone-free. You can even add more volume by blow dryingyour hair with a round brush to enhance volume and body or blow dry with a flat brush to create a smooth, polished blowout.

I was looking for an easy and effective hair routine that would help me manage my dry, brittle, wavy and frizzy hair! The system that I was given the opportunity to try was definitely one that I hoped would live up to its claims. The first thing I noticed was that the bottles have a unique style to them– pretty neat. Then, I saw that it was a simple process- check in that box. Further, when I used the products I was impressed with their smells – fresh yet not overwhelming. I loved the fact that it could be used by myself or my husband and we could both benefit from the products. My husband, like me, looks for n easy routine as well…. he loves these products too! Now, I need to hide all of these from my husband so he doesn’t use it all up, hah!!
