Do you love to bake? If you’re like me, you love to bake when Fall is here even more than any other time of the year! The scents and flavors of fall are my favorite. What about you? Pumpkin bread is an all time classic recipe that is one of my favorite items to bake in the cooler months. The cool, crisp air and pumpkin is perfect for welcoming fall. I am off to make another loaf right now!! It is so easy and delicious with butter or just warm!

Homemade Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients – 

  • 1 C. canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 1/2 C. applesauce
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice

Directions – 

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and spray a 9×5 loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Combine the pumpkin, applesauce, vanilla, sugar and eggs.

Slowly fold in the dry ingredients.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan.

Bake for 45-50 minutes.

Ingredients
