Do you like to prepare treats for your family or social group? If you’re a busy Mom like me, you do but you don’t have the time to always prepare something from scratch. There are so many options to use things already made and spruce them up as a treat. Take this easy decorating for example, we use fudge graham square cookies that we purchased at the Dollar Tree and then spruced them up with some icing with a cute little pumpkin and then served them for Halloween. The possibilities are endless with these cookies – you can make them for Halloween, Fall, Easter, Christmas, Birthdays and more. Simply draw on whatever little shape or item you want and voila, you have a great dessert cookie. You could also make these for a wedding or baby shower.
Pumpkin Chocolate Fudge Grahams
Ingredients:
1 package fudge covered graham squares (Dollar Tree)
1 tub white frosting
Food Coloring: Used AmeriColor Soft Gel Paste in Orange and Leaf Green
Directions:
Place 2/3 of the frosting into a bowl and add orange food coloring and mix well.
Place 2/3 of the frosting into a bowl and add orange food coloring and mix well.
Color the remaining frosting with green food coloring and mix well.
Place each frosting color into a ziplock or piping bag. Snip the tip and carefully pipe pumpkins onto the cookies.
Set aside to dry and enjoy!
How cute are these?! I can see using these for a Halloween party or even just for a fall treat for your family. They’re so easy and simple yet beautiful for display. I love easy to follow recipes….. you don’t even need your oven for these. Simply open a pack of cookies, mix up some icing and decorate. I still have a love of baking but I like quick treats to share like this. What other quick treat ideas do you have?
