Rice Krispie Heart Pops Edited

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Are you looking for a fun, cute and easy recipe for the kids this Valentine’s Day? You’re going to LOVE these Rice Krispie Valentine’s Heart Pops! These would look absolutely adorable wrapped in a cellophane gift bag and gifted to your work friends, fellow Moms, or for your kids to take to school. They’re super simple and the kids can even help ;). Check out the easy recipe below and then find the printable version at the bottom of the post. Enjoy.

Ingredients:

Rice Krispie 1

1 8 ct package of Kellogg’s Rice Krispie Treats

Cherry (pink) frosting, any brand

White frosting, any brand

Valentine sprinkles (I used Wilton)

8 Wilton 4” lollipop sticks

Wilton small heart cookie cutter

Directions

#1. Open all the Rice Krispie Treats and discard the wrappers.

#2. Use the small Wilton heart shaped cookie cutter to make a heart shape out of each Rice Krispie Treat (see photo).

Rice Krispie 3

#3. Next, insert one 4” lollipop stick into the base of each Rice Krispie Treat (see photo).

Rice Krispie 4

#4. Use a small butter knife or spatula to spread frosting on each heart. I chose to use 2 different colored frostings but you could always use just one. Once each heart is frosted sprinkle each one with Valentine colored sprinkles.

Rice Krispie 5

#5. Store flat and covered on a baking sheet or in a 9×13 baking dish until ready to serve.

*Makes 8 servings. 1 Rice Krispie Heart = 1 serving.Rice Krispie 8
