What is a Nectar Mattress Made of?

 

NECTAR is constructed from four special grade performance layers and a uniquely milled cooling cover. NECTAR’s cover is Tencel and long staple cotton, fully removable, quilted and embroidered, woven and prepared with a healthy aloe based cooling layer to assist air wicking. NECTAR’s foam layers include “Lush” 1-inch four lb semi-open fast-recovery gel memory foam, a 3-inch 3.5lb memory foam with a medical grade cooling and recovery levels and finally a 2.2lb high density base foam.

Our Thoughts

When we first ordered our NECTAR mattress, I was nervous about ordering a mattress offline. However, I had seen the amazing reviews and knew that it was worth a shot especially with their warranty and guarantee. We ordered it and it took a little longer than expected because they’re receiving so many orders, but when it arrived, it was packaged perfectly and ready to go. As you can see below, Liam was super excited that it arrived ;).

Set up was a breeze as the package it is in has easy to follow directions. It arrived in a blue overlay package and was rolled up tightly.

We set up the mattress and immediately put it on our son’s full size bed frame. While it doesn’t require a box spring, we knew that it needed more support than the bed frame could provide so we ordered a support for it before we slept on it. In order to transition our son to this bed, I needed to sleep with him to get him comfortable in the bed. I was SO comfortable and so was he in that bed. The mattress is memory foam and cooling. The only thing we added was a mattress cover because its for our toddler and I want to protect it.
