One of my husband’s favorite sandwiches is a French Dip. I like them too and was aiming to find a way to make them at home. If you’re looking for a simple meal that is perfect for entertaining, these French Dip Sandwiches are just that — simple and perfect for entertaining. Just pull out your Crockpot, get a beef roast and a few other ingredients and you’re set!
Ingredients:
- Beef Roast, 2-4lbs
- 2 cans French Onion Soup
- 1 can Beef Consomme
- Provolone Cheese Slices
- Italian Hoagie Rolls
Directions:
Put Beef Roast in the Crockpot.
Pour French Onion Soup and Beef Consomme on top of the roast.
Place lid on crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
Slice beef roast into thin strips and place on Italian hoagie rolls, top with cheese and serve with a side dish of the sauce in the crockpot for dipping.
Enjoy.
