One of my all time favorite things is queso!! When I was a kid, I was lactose intolerant but I grew out of that and now am super thankful that I am able to eat cheese, and lots of it. I also love eating out at Mexican restaurants and always get queso…… sometimes even as a meal. If you’re like me, you will want it all of the time! Thankfully, I have a delicious and super easy queso recipe for you to make in your slow cooker. Check it out.
Easy Slow Cooker Queso
Ingredients:
- ½ lb Pepper Jack Cheese
- ½ lb White American Cheese
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- ½ Cup Sour Cream
- 10 oz Can Tomatoes & Green Chilies, drained
- ¾ Cup Milk
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Chili Powder
Instructions:
Cut your Pepperjack cheese into cubes. Tear your white American cheese (get it from the deli!) into small pieces.
In your slow cooker, add Pepper Jack cheese, American cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, and tomatoes. Use a Slow Cooker Liner for easier cleanup!
Pour in ¾ cup of milk.
Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder and chili powder on top.
Mix everything together.
Cook on low, opening to stir occasionally for 3-4 hours. Once the mixture is melted, switch the slow cooker to the warm setting.
Serve with chips or use in tacos. YUM!
