S’more Brownies

Thank You For Sharing!!

Brownies are a favorite dessert of mine to make and eat. A few years ago, I started to make them from scratch instead of from a box mix and oh my goodness, a whole new world is open!

Do you like the corner pieces or the middle pieces? I personally love the corner pieces but when a brownie is offered, I’ll take whatever piece I get.

Homemade brownies are the best! If you’ve not tried making them from scratch, you’ll be surprised at how easy they are. I can’t tell you the last time I used a box mix to make brownies. I can make them cake like or fudgy, it all depends on what crowd I’m making them for.

There are so many ways that you can customize brownies like these S’more Brownies. With a few simply additions to a simple brownie recipe, you’re going to have a crowd waiting for more!

In a large bowl, mix the butter and chocolate chips.  Melt in the microwave.

Stir in the vanilla and eggs.

Add sugar, flour, baking soda and cinnamon.  Stir until it is well combined.

Chop 1 ½ of the Hershey bars and add to the brownie mixture.  Combine.

Pour into a greased 9×13 baking pan.  Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Allow to cool for a few minutes and spread the marshmallows over the top.  Coarsely chop the remaining Hershey bars and add to the top as well. Crumble the graham crackers on top.

Broil for just a few minutes until marshmallows are browned.  Allow to cool before serving.
