About Snuggle Me

Snuggle Me is a patented product that makes  bringing baby to bed helpful and safe. If you choose to co-sleep with your little one, the key is doing it safely. The Snuggle Me gives parents the perfect aid in this nighttime relationship is provides not only a cushion for baby but also a barrier in the bed so that your little one is safe.  This gives parents the ability to sleep knowing that baby is safe and comforted. The Snuggle Me has no hard edges, buttons or straps and doesn’t take up too much room. The Snuggle Me can also be used during the day for naps so that baby has the same sleeping environment as the night time!

Even if you don’t plan to co-sleep, the Snuggle Me makes a fantastic play mat, a tummy time helper, infant massage, a changing station, sponge baths, for travel, camping and even sitting up practice.  This truly is one of the most versatile products on the market and can be used in place of a whole slew of other products.  If you are looking for the “one product for everything” this is it.  

The Snuggle Me uses fabrics and materials directly from the USA.  This means that the fabrics (in particular) are regulated by the CPSIA.  The CPSIA has the highest standard for product safety anywhere.  As for the fills, the organic fills are both certified organic and are in their raw, unprocessed forms. Even the polyester fill is made in the US and contain no added chemicals and does not contain Ethylene Glycol, Phthalates, BPAs, or flame retardants.

The Snuggle Me’s are sewn in Duluth, MN by Woodland Mills. The cushions are filled by a company called AirTex in Cokato, MN. They are still hand-filling all of the organic fill cushions by hand. You can be assured that you are supporting MN businesses when you purchase a Snuggle Me!

About the Founder

Mia Carr is the CEO of Simply Mommy LLC and the co-creator of the Snuggle Me! She and her husband have 6 children which are homeschooled on their 20 acre homestead south of Duluth, Minnesota.

Mia and her mother-in-law came up with the concept of the Snuggle Me after the birth of her twin sons in 2006.  She struggled to juggle the demands of having twin newborn babies along with a toddler.  The idea for a cushion that snuggled a baby came to mind.  Mia had just taken a sewing class a few months before, so she pulled out the sewing machine, sewed up a few examples and then they finally found a design that did exactly what they imagined.  

As a family they do a lot of hiking and camping. Mia does a lot of reading, chicken tending, gardening and cooking.  She also plays dress up, blocks, and legos.  

Our Thoughts

The Snuggle Me is certainly a fantastic product for a new Mom or Mom-to-be. I love that this design is patented and that the product is made from organic and hypoallergenic filling. Additionally, I love that this Snuggle Me is made right here in the USA!

The Snuggle Me is so nicely wrapped in a cotton cover with a tie tag with information about this product. I love that I can store this when I am not using it – like in between kids or for traveling.

The Snuggle Me Organic has a removable cover that is so super soft. I love that this fits on just like a pillow case and is easy too remove for cleaning. This cover is so nice and comfortable and I know that an infant would love it.

You can see the Snuggle Me Organic out of the packaging and out of the removable cover. This design makes it so that when weight is put down in the center the sides move in a bit to ‘snuggle’ the little one. This is not only great for co-sleeping but also for tummy time! I love that it gives support and comfort to your little baby! 

The Snuggle Me Organic would make a fantastic Holiday gift for that expectant mother, or mother of an infant. I love this product for a variety of reasons and know you will too!
