SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY hits theaters on May 25th. If you don’t have your tickets yet, get them soon because this is a movie that you do not want to miss. As an attendee of the SOLO World Premiere, I was able to screen the movie with all of those in attendance. I am excited to share this spoiler-free review of SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY! SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY MOVIE REVIEW

I’ll be honest, I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t sure if the movie would live up to the other Star Wars films. However, I attended the World Premiere for SOLO and saw it before anyone else. This is where I learned that this movie falls right into place with the other Star Wars films with some new actors!

Alden Ehrenreich who plays young Han Solo did a wonderful job along with Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Paul Bettany. This movie far exceeded my expectations going in. While I’m not a huge Star Wars fan, I have seen and loved all of the movies due to the incredible stories and interactions with the characters. SOLO is no exception to this and truly is a great movie.

If you’ve not seen any Star Wars movies or you’ve only seen 1-2, it may be hard for you to truly grasp the details of the storyline and their significance. However, I wouldn’t say you can’t see SOLO if you’ve not seen any of the other movies. You could always have a Star Wars movie marathon and see them all ;).

SOLO made me laugh, and I love to laugh while watching movies. The little jokes they threw in were so natural with the movie and I loved each and every one. None of the jokes felt forced at all and they were relevant to the scene.

Additionally, the characters interactions with one another and the drama that is exemplified throughout the movie is amazing. You truly feel like you’re IN the movie while you watch it.
