What are you favorite things to do with your kids now that they’re home from school for the summer. We like to take a few trips to our local movie theater mid week as they offer $1 movies! We also try to be outside at least in the evening with them. My husband and I work full time so we can’t exactly be outside all day, but we do try!!

This Summer, I’m looking into some short trips and more time at our local parks and waterfront areas with the family. It is easy to let the busyness of the season get ahead of us, and we are really good at that.

For the 4th of July, we are going to my sister’s house for a cookout and fireworks so that should be fun! The kids don’t love the sound of the fireworks so we will be indoors watching.
