Spring is HERE or at least I hope so! I am loving the warmer weather here in MD and hoping that it stays. I’m super excited to share this cute and delicious recipe for Spring Caramel Corn with you, I sure hope you enjoy. This would be a great entertaining food or something to add color to the snack table. This popcorn is delicious and perfect for a family movie night. Add some fun colors and treats and your kids will surely be asking for more!
Spring Caramel Corn
Ingredients:
4 Quarts Popped Corn
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
food coloring
Peanut M&Ms (spring colored)
Directions:
Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, salt and cream of tartar in medium saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cook to 250 degrees F.
Remove from heat. After boiling action ceases, and flavoring and color. Add soda and stir in quickly but thoroughly. Pour at once while foamy over warm popcorn; mix gently to coat corn.
Spread on a cookie sheet and break into pieces when cool.
Repeat for each desired color. Mix cooled corn with spring colored peanut m&ms in a large bowl. Serve!

I had to pin this recipe to try. Out of all that I've seen, this is the best. You get some sweet and salty and crunchy from the M&M's.
