How Do I Make Ham and Cheese Pinwheels?
This recipe makes about 12 servings so keep that in mind when you’re preparing. These will go fast, though, so I usually make a double batch. Here’s how to make these cheesy Ham and Cheese Pinwheels.
Preheat your own and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or very lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
Lay the two pieces of thawed puff pastry out flat on a clean work surface.

Arrange 8 slices of ham on each piece of pastry so that it is mostly covered with the ham. Next, place 8 slices of cheese on each pastry over top of the ham.

Start at one end of the pastry and roll tightly into a log; repeat with the second pastry.

Use a sharp knife to cut the pastry logs into ¾-inch thick slices. Place each slice on the prepared baking sheets, leaving at least 1-inch between each.

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Lightly brush the egg wash over top of each pinwheel (discard the leftover egg wash).

Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning onto the top of each pinwheel, if desired.

Bake the ham and cheese pinwheels. Cool slightly before serving.
Can I Use A Different Puff Pastry Brand?
Of course! We personally used Pillsbury but there is no reason why you couldn’t use another brand of choice.

Could I Use Crescent Rolls instead of Puff Pastry?
Absolutely, they just won’t puff out as much as you see in the pictures. You could also place them closer together on your baking sheet to make them more of a pull apart dish.
Can I Use a Different Meat for this Puff Pastry?
You can absolutely swap the ham out for other lunch meats, including bologna, turkey breast, and even roast beef. Mix and Match – you can make these to your liking!

Can I Store these Puff Pastries In the Fridge?
Yes, they will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days!

Is the Puff Pastry Freezer-Friendly?
They sure are and they freeze beautifully. I recommend freezing before you bake! You can simply place them on a baking sheet and freeze until they are frozen solid. Then put them into an air tight container of bag.
When you’re ready to eat, let them thaw in the refrigerator overnight and bake according to the recipe instructions!
