I just whipped up a batch for the first time and they aren't set yet but they smell amazing. I hope they work well for my hands.

I have been wanting to try and make lotion bars with raw honey. I am skeptical for one reason. Does adding the honey cause it to leave a sticky residue? Thank you.

Do these need to be refrigerated at all?

Nope, not after they’re hardened.

I’m finding that the honey isn’t mixing in well and then ends up sinking to the bottom of my last bar I pour. Any tips?

@Olivia, l had the exact same thing happen. I know the honey was the real thing since it was harvested from my friend’s hive. I salvaged the lotion cake since I was able to rinse the honey off, but it was a sad and disappointing waste of my honey. 😞

Hm, that's odd. Are you mixing the honey into the mixture while it is still warm? Perhaps you can heat up the honey some before you mix it in so that it mixes together well.

These look so cute! I love the Lush Lotion Bars but they're so expensive for how much product you get. These look even nicer than the Lush versions, and your tutorial looks really simple so I've got to give them a try :D xo
