Budget Friendly Valentine’s Day Date Ideas! #Date #ValentinesDay

Thank You For Sharing!!

Valentine's Day (1)

Valentine’s Day is almost here and you may have started thinking about what date ideas you can enjoy with your significant other. There are great ideas that the stores have on their shelves like roses, chocolates, etc. but Valentine’s Day can be overrated at times by the stores. You also could go out to a very nice restaurant, one that only takes reservations and people in dressy clothes, but that isn’t for everyone. We have a 3 month old and we aren’t going to be going out as we would have to find a babysitter (my Mom would do it) and since we both work full time we’d rather spend the night with him. We will, however, do something special to celebrate Valentine’s Day so I’ve been looking for Budget Friendly ideas, here are 5 of the best ones I’ve found.

Budget Friendly Valentine’s Day Dates

# 1 Enjoy the Waves –  You can enjoy some time by the water whether you’re in a colder area or a warmer area. We are definitely beach people and I love to sit on the beach while listening to the waves crashing! If you wanted to go at breakfast time you could pack a fun picnic and watch the sunrise too!

#2 Go out for Dessert– Instead of going out for dinner, consider eating in and going out for dessert later. Restaurants are very chaotic on Valentine’s Day and usually are booked a few days before for reservations. If you want a special meal, make one at home and then consider going out to get ice cream or coffee later for dessert.

#3 Watch the Stars– Take a drive and find a location that has a great view for stars! I love to catch a shooting star and you’re bound to if you sit out with a nice cozy blanket and watch the beautiful night sky. How romantic.

#4 Night of Music – Go see a local band or visit a location that has a band playing. You may have a favorite band that is playing or you may want to try something new. Even if you’re home, light to candles and put on a favorite CD of yours. You can reminisce about the previous year and just talk about your relationship and future.

#5 Relive your First Date –  What was your first date? Consider recreating that and spending the time together talking about the time you met and the time you fell in love.

I especially love the idea of going out for dessert. If I eat out at a restaurant, I'm usually stuffed by dessert. I'd much rather enjoy something like big slice of chocolate cake on Valentine's Day!

I love this! We will just be coming back from Disney so we will need to have a low key Valentine's Day. Thank you for this article.
