We are expecting our first little boy in October, 2014 so the search for great baby products is in full swing– those with great reviews are always at the forefront of our minds. Therefore, I plan to provide you with a review of some specific products from amazing baby brands.

I will be featuring a custom wall decal from Wise Decor.  WiseDecor is a decorative lettering wall decal company that allows you to “personalize your world” with all of your favorite quotes/sayings. On their website, there are a variety of ideas and even a way to customize a statement for your walls. With our little boy on the way, I was in search of something for the nursery. That’s when I came across an awesome decal of Luke 2:52! 

As you can see above, we decided to put it above Liam’s dresser! It can be seen as soon as you open the nursery door, which we love. The installation of the wall decal took some time but my husband helped me, teamwork. There are directions (that are very accurate and detailed) for how to apply…. 

First, we figured out where we wanted it on the wall and then removed the backing paper where only the decal and the transfer paper were left. Then, we smoothed it onto the wall. 

Next you use the scraping tool (comes with the design) and smooth over every letter carefully. We went over it a few times to ensure that it was transferring to the wall properly.

Third, slowly peel back the transfer paper ensuring that the letters are sticking to the wall. If you find that they are not sticking, you’ll want to reinforce the transfer by repeating Step 2.

Fourth, continue to peel off the transfer paper until you’re all done. Voila– you have a beautiful wall decal.

As you can see, it takes some time (and patience) to get the transfer completed, but it is totally worth it. We LOVE how it turned out and are excited to being ONE step closer to having the nursery ready for our little man!
